excessive wait disorganized restaurant
The breakfast experience was a letdown. I waited an excessive amount of time to be seated and then had to call a waiter to take my order (it was like I was adding to his burden). I had to ask for coffee twice, and it arrived only after another ten minutes. (I have the feeling nobody cares) Your restaurant looked disorganized, with the waiting staff seemingly unable to manage everything.

some issues noted during stay
staff proactiveness limited offering
I found some aspects of my stay less than satisfactory. the staff exhibited a lack of proactiveness at check-in (i was expecting a bit more engagement). the complimentary products in the room seemed somewhat limited. I would have expected a better offering given the room rate. the rooftop bar was closed, disappointing.

a precious city gem
superb location immediate assistance ample space lovely light
the location was superb for exploring shops and local eateries. the staff provided immediate assistance for all requests. our room had ample space plus lovely natural light. i certainly enjoyed the convenient proximity to the cathedral.
the in-room coffee machine made weak coffee though it had assorted teas.

The room was clean with extra water bottles in the fridge. fabulous shower gel and hand cream were provided. I adored the attention to detail.

polite staff central location super clean room fluffy towels
The staff displayed great politeness and efficiency. I found the central location convenient for getting around. My room was super clean and well kept. The fluffy towels in the bathroom were an added luxury.
The coffee from the bar was not as hot as I prefer.

The breakfast had a good selection of pastries, cereal, fruit and meat or fish options. Cooked selections were also available each morning (especially helpful for a hearty start!). The coffee machine offered various specialty options.
